Last week Zugzwang had its Second Annual Court Day. For some reason, we were in a different class room and I had no clue. I was on my way to my original classroom from the library just to find out that my class was no where to be found. As I was searching for my class, I found 4 other classmates who also got lost. I suggested that we go to the main office to ask for the location of my teacher but the other 4 decided to search first so I went along. We searched the first floor. Nothing. We searched the second floor. Nothing. We searched the library. Nothing. We searched the third floor and the fourth floor. Nothing. Finally, we decided to just go to the main office and ask. We ended up finding our classroom. They were in the middle of their last case. In my opinion, this was the funniest court case I have ever been a part of. It was between two guys in my class. One guy was suing the other one for breaking the law in Bill 3 Appendix 2 or something like that. Not only did the prosecutor not have any evidence of the defendant breaking the law, the prosecutor didn't even know what Bill 3 Appendix 2 was. It had something to do with power yet not once did I here anything about power. At the end of the case, the three juries said that the defendant was guilty yet the judge ruled that both the prosecutor and the defendant paid a fine of $150 for a mockery of the court. The prosecutor told the court room that the reason why he did what he did was to show that the three juries had absolutely no say in the final ruling. They could say that someone is guilty but the judge can say innocent and that's what goes.
